Recently we have been learning about Community Helpers in Social Studies. As a spin-off of pilots, we are learning about the couragous, first female pilot to fly across the Atlantic Ocean, Amelia Earhart. Students now know that Amelia's later trip across around the World turned into a mystery, still unsolved.
