Thank You and Best Wishes in the Future

It is with great sincerity that I write the final blog post for the school year to you. To the parents, thank you for your constant support, communication and understanding. To the students, thank you for your dedication, questions, answers, determination, smiles, laughs, hard work and leadership. Each of you will always hold a special place in my heart.

I encourage you to email me in the near and distant future with pictures of you and your family, school mates or just anything at all. The internet has made our world a small world after all.

Don't forget to "show off" your awesome dancing skills to your friends/family in the future with We're All in This Together. Let that song be a reminder that this year we were all together, as one unit/class, and that is a special bond/relationship that no one but the 17 of us shared together.

Let me leave you with this quote:

~~~Winners never quit and Quitters never win~~~
Which means, always try your best in whatever you do in the future. You are my stars.
Love: Ms. Meyer
Homemade Ice-cream
Our students made Ice-cream last week ... for a few reasons!
-It's getting hot outside!
-Back in March the students wrote persuasive writing, and one was asking if they could have ice-cream in May (Congrats Sena and Pranu on your persuasion!)
-In Math we are learning about capacity and volume, what better way to understand cups, ml, pints and gallons than it fill up some measuring tools and EAT!
The method is quite easy:
Although we did not use Vanilla Extract for dietary reasons. But we did use lots of toppings, sprinkles and cookies afterwards!
Maybe your family can try it soon at home!
